What Creatures Are In The Game
There are many kinds of creatures in the game, many different species, and many types of specific species. There are several guides available that have spoilers on how the creatures grow, what descriptions creatures have, and other such guides.
Creature Concepts
The conceptual ideas for the creatures is two-fold. Firstly, there is the creatures based off Myths and Legends. Secondly, there is the creatures that are thought up by the spriters (sometimes requested by the creator).
Myth Based Creatures
Most of the Myth based creatures in Mythical Moments stem from researching various Media. Books, legends, folktales, especially Wikipedia. The results of that research is then painstakingly included in the sprites that are created. Sometimes now all features can be implemented due to a characteristic being a temperment, or too fine a detail to be included in such a small image, yet as much detail is put in to make it as true to the Myth as possible.
Spriter Based Creatures
Most of the spriter based creatures in Mythical moments stem from a desire to have always wanted to see what happens if this or that creature was possible. Sometimes it is just because the idea is "cool", sometimes it is omething that fits into the current theme going through the spriters mind, and sometimes, the creator just bugged them enough to make the creature he longed for.
